Theia is designed around commercially available high resolution mirrorless cameras, ensuring no compromise is made in image quality. At altitude, small differences can be the difference between identifying a person in distress or missing them entirely. Theia's high resolution camera ensures that every detail is captured, even from a distance.

The camera choice also allows for extreme versatility, with customisable lenses and filters to suit any mission requirement. The chosen sensor is capable of capturing high resolution images and video, even in low light conditions. Using a commercially widespread camera means Theia benefits from established reliability, ongoing manufacturer support, and robust ecosystem of compatible components.

The hardware is only half of what makes Theia amazing at what it does. Theia's remarkable software and detection algorithms, combined with data from other sensors allow it to detect and precisely locate people in distress, even in challenging conditions.

Theia's algorithms are designed for reliability and accuracy, ensuring no one is missed while maintaing a near zero number of false positives that could waste critical resources. Advanced geotagging locations ensure precision in locating people, even in complex environments.
